Biotin is a member of the B-complex family of vitamins. Biotin is an essential cofactor in the metabolism of nutrients including carbohydrates, fats, and amino acids. Most notably, biotin has been used to support conditions related to blood sugar metabolism as well as fat metabolism. Biotin can also be manufactured by healthy gut bacteria, hence the importance of probiotics. We use the highest quality USP-grade biotin available.†

Features
Provides 5mg (5,000mcg) per serving.
Easy to swallow capsule.
High-quality, USP-grade biotin.

Benefits
Biotin is an essential cofactor for glucokinase, a key enzyme involved in glucose metabolism and the synthesis of glycogen (storage form of glucose).†
Biotin, as a cofactor for chemical reactions involved in glucose metabolism, has been shown to help support glucose levels already in the normal range.†
Biotin is required for fatty acid synthesis and oxidation (“burning”). Deficiency of biotin has been linked to dry skin and hair as well as poor nail structure (brittle nails).†
Biotin has also been shown to promote normal, healthy nervous system function.†

DGL (Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice) is well-researched for its safe and effective healing support of the gastrointestinal lining.† The stomach lining and intestinal walls are in a constant state of repair, and this repair process is supported by the powerful properties of DGL licorice.† Our unique formula also includes fennel, marshmallow and aloe vera to support overall health of the digestive tract lining.† Deglycyrrhizinated licorice is specially processed and standardized to remove the glycyrrhizin, a compound that may cause undesirable side effects.† This advanced formula is designed to soothe, protect and support gastrointestinal health.†
CONTAINS NO Artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives; no wheat, gluten, milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, crustacean shellfish or fish.

Processed with hot water extraction to remove the glycyrrhizin content to no more than 2%
• Supports healthy structure, function, and integrity of gastrointestinal mucosal lining
• Plant-based formula to support healthy mucous production in the GI tract

L-Glutamine is a conditionally essential amino acid. It is the primary source of fuel for the cells that line the intestinal tract. It also plays a role in protein and DNA synthesis. Many athletes take L-Glutamine after a workout to promote muscle repair and recovery.

Amino acids are needed by the body to rebuild and repair tissues, muscles, blood proteins, and cell enzymes. L-Glutamine, the most abundant amino acid found in the muscle, is converted to glutamic acid in the body to support cerebral function.† L-Glutamine also assists in maintaining a healthy digestive tract.†

As coenzymes (helping enzymes carry out chemical reactions), B-vitamins are essential nutrients involved in most metabolic reactions. They play an important role in energy production, particularly from the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. These essential nutrients are also important for the production of healthy cells, hormones, neurotransmitters, and other biomolecules. They are needed for healthy nerve, heart, brain, muscle, and other important cell/tissue function. The B-vitamins are water-soluble, and therefore not stored to any significant extent in the body. This is why we need to ensure adequate intake of these nutrients on a daily basis. Due to the excess consumption of refined and processed foods, the average person does not consume optimal amounts of these nutrients. Our B-Complex 100 provides high amounts of essential B-Complex vitamins.

Features
B-Complex 100 provides a high-potency, full-spectrum B-vitamin supplement which helps support many different biochemical and physiological processes.†
Reliance’s B-complex contains USP-Grade nutrients, therefore meets strict standards for purity and potency.
Comes in a sustained release delivery system, allowing slower absorption over several hours to help maintain optimal blood levels of these key nutrients.†

Benefits
Thiamin, riboflavin, and niacin are essential for the production of energy from food. They also help support nerve and heart function, and help the body produce antioxidants.†
Vitamin B6 is needed to make neurotransmitters, chemicals that are essential for normal, healthy brain and nervous system function. B6 also helps support the metabolism of amino acids, including homocysteine, which, when elevated, may increase one’s risk for heart disease.†
Vitamin B12 and folic acid are both needed to make healthy blood cells by supporting DNA and RNA metabolism, and both help support normal, healthy levels of homocysteine; a recognized cardiovascular “toxin”.†
Pantothenic acid is needed to produce energy from fats, carbohydrates, and proteins, while biotin is essential for the metabolism of fatty acids and glucose, and assists in cellular energy production.†
Choline is needed to help support the production of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine and serves as an important cofactor in healthy liver detoxification processes.†
Inositol serves as a signaling molecule helping to “direct” cellular function, while PABA serves as a component of folic acid.†

The amino acid L-Arginine has several roles in the body, such as assisting in wound healing, helping remove excess ammonia from the body, stimulating immune function, and promoting secretion of several hormones, including glucagon, insulin, and growth hormone.

Arginine is an amino acid produced in the human body by the digestion or hydrolysis of proteins. Arginine is naturally converted into nitric oxide by the human body, supporting cardiovascular health.† Arginine also supports immune and liver health.† Athletes often supplement with arginine while performing strenuous exercise to promote lean muscle mass.†

Vitamin C is an essential water-soluble vitamin with many important functions in the body. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is an important cofactor for the production and stability of collagen. The stability and strength of connective tissue, blood vessels, etc. depend upon vitamin C. The body’s ability to manufacture neurotransmitters as well as L-carnitine (required for fat metabolism) depends upon optimal intake of vitamin C. In addition to its role in manufacturing important biological compounds, vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant and helps support normal, healthy immune function. Rose hips, in addition to being an excellent source of vitamin C, contain a wide range of beneficial phytochemicals including polyphenols such as anthocyanins as well as beta-carotene, lycopene and lutein. These biologically-active compounds provide a synergistic affect, helping to provide structural and functional support to major body systems including the cardiovascular, immune and neurological systems.†

Features
High potency vitamin C including 500 mg.
Chewable
Gluten free.

Benefits
Vitamin C is essential for the synthesis and stability of collagen, the underlying structure of bone, skin, ligaments, tendons, blood vessels and other body tissue.†
Vitamin C is an essential cofactor for the manufacturing of neurotransmitters such as serotonin and epinephrine, essential for the normal, healthy functioning of the nervous system.†
The transport of fatty acids into the mitochondria of the cell where they are used to make energy (ATP) requires L-carnitine which cannot be manufactured without vitamin C.†
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant helping to neutralize peroxyl and hydroxyl free radicals as well as regenerating the antioxidants vitamin E and glutathione back to their reduced forms (form in which they serve as antioxidants).†
Vitamin C helps to limit the production of nitrosamines from nitrites found in foods such as hot dogs, bacon and cold cuts. Nitrosamines have been shown to be potentially harmful to the body.†
Vitamin C is essential for a healthy immune system. Histamine is secreted by the body in response to allergens and infections. Vitamin C has been shown to help support normal, healthy levels of histamine. In addition, vitamin C supports healthy levels of interferon and normal, healthy white blood cell activity; both critical to healthy immune function.†
