We are constantly exposed to a wide variety of potentially toxic substances. There are numerous sources of toxins including, the environment, food supply and prescription and over-the-counter medications all of which contribute to toxic overload. Through various biochemical and physiological mechanisms, the body is capable of neutralizing or detoxifying potentially harmful substances helping prepare them for excretion. The liver, being the major organ of detoxification, plays a major role in helping to chemically modify toxic substances in preparation for their removal from the body. Our Ultra Cleansing System AM/PM Kit contains a synergistic combination of ingredients to help support the liver, kidneys, colon and other important body systems in their efforts to dispose of potentially harmful, toxic substances.†

Features
The Ultra Cleansing System A.M./P.M. is a comprehensive, 30 day, multi-system cleansing and detoxification program, that is scientifically designed to naturally aid the body in the removal of potentially harmful substances.
Is safe and gentle and CONTAINS NO harsh laxatives, which can be dangerous and lead to physical dependency.
The Ultra Cleansing System A.M./P.M. is simple and convenient, requiring an individual to take only 2 capsules in the A.M. and 2 capsules in the P.M.
Contains ClearFiber™, a patented source of soluble fiber which research studies show helps to promote healthy bowel function.†
Provides a gentle and effective combination of botanical extracts, that works synergistically to help support the body’s natural detoxification systems.†

Benefits
This comprehensive program helps support major detoxification pathways in the liver and other body systems involved in the removal of potentially toxic substances.†
By helping to support the excretion of toxins as well as encourage bowel regularity Ultra Cleansing System AM/PM helps support overall health and wellness.†
Carefully selected botanical ingredients support major systems of the body:†
Liver (Milk Thistle, Artichoke, Dandelion, Yellow Dock, Rhubarb, Celandine leaf)
Lung (Red Root, Marshmallow, Fennel)
Lymphatic System (Echinacea, Burdock, Yellow Dock, Oregon Grape, Milk Thistle)
Kidney (Dandelion, Artichoke, Corn Silk, Burdock)
Blood (Burdock, Celandine, Cape Aloe)
Bowel (Flax, Red Raspberry , Cape Aloe, Marshmallow, Rhubarb, Fennel, Ginger, Peppermint, ClearFiber™)
Skin (Burdock, Dandelion, Yellow Dock)
Cleanses gently without disrupting an individual’s daily routine.

The liver is a complex organ with a variety of functions. It plays a major role in the detoxification of endotoxins (metabolically produced) and xenobiotics (environmental). Detoxification is a process that involves several different organs and occurs primarily in the liver. The liver achieves this through two distinct phases whereby it prepares the toxins for excretion. Some toxins are excreted through the bile, and others through the kidneys. In phase 1, toxins are transformed into intermediate compounds which are then neutralized by phase 2 enzymes making them easier for the body to excrete.

Features
Comprehensive liver support formula, containing a synergistic combination of B-vitamins, minerals, botanicals, and other nutraceuticals.
Contains milk thistle and other standardized extracts such as turmeric, artichoke, and picrorhiza.
Contains SelenoExcell® and NAC for glutathione peroxidase and glutathione production, respectively. SelenoExcell® is the most researched form of selenium.
Contains the antioxidants alpha-lipoic acid and vitamin C.

Benefits
Milk Thistle extract has been documented in many scientific studies to provide support to the liver. It helps protect liver cells from toxins, and helps support liver detoxification processes.†
NAC serves as a precursor for the synthesis of glutathione in the liver. Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant, which, along with vitamin C and other nutrients, helps provide antioxidant support to the liver.† Glutathione also helps support liver detoxification processes.†
Choline helps support fat metabolism in the liver, which helps support healthy liver function.†
Selenium as SelenoExcell® helps support glutathione peroxidase (powerful antioxidant enzyme) activity.†
The active curcuminoids in turmeric have been shown to be powerful antioxidants, and also help support normal, healthy liver detoxification.†
Picrorhiza kurroa extract as Picroliv® from Sabinsa has been shown in studies to support healthy liver function.†
Alpha-lipoic acid is a potent antioxidant and studies show it to be a powerful protector of normal, healthy liver function.†
Artichoke and boldo extract help support the production and excretion of bile, which is one way the body excretes toxins.†
Burdock root, dandelion, and yellow dock have traditionally been used as “cleansing” herbs which help to support liver, gall bladder, and kidney elimination processes.†

The thyroid gland is a butterfly-shaped gland that lies across the trachea at the base of the throat. One of the largest endocrine (hormone secreting) glands in the body the thyroid gland produces and secretes thyroid hormones, mostly T4 (inactive) and small amounts of T3 (active). When needed T4 is typically converted in the liver, kidney and other tissue to active T3. The primary action of thyroid hormone is to raise the body’s metabolic rate-that is, to increase the rate of oxygen consumption and energy expenditure. Thyroid hormones are also essential for normal growth and development in children, interacts with other hormones to modulate carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism, and controls other important biological functions. Thyroid Support is a synergistic combination of nutrients and herbs designed to help support thyroid hormone production, activation and function, all of which are needed for normal, healthy thyroid function.†

Features
Comprehensive support for normal, healthy thyroid function.†
Combination of essential vitamins and minerals to help support thyroid function.†
Synergistic combination of standardized botanical extracts to help support healthy thyroid function, metabolism and stress response.†
Vegetarian
Gluten free

Benefits
Thyroid hormone production:
L-Tyrosine is an essential component of thyroid hormones, and helps support the production of hormones that affect mood, energy level and stress response.†
Kelp provides a natural source of the trace mineral iodine, an essential component of thyroid hormones.
Vitamins B6 and C are cofactors required for the body’s natural production and metabolism of tyrosine.
Copper is an essential cofactor for the enzyme responsible for producing thyroid hormones.
Thyroid hormone receptor structure/function:
Vitamins A and D are important for thyroid hormone receptor function. Thyroid hormone (T3) must effectively bind to specific cellular receptors, which in turn supports energy production and nutrient metabolism.†
Zinc plays an important role in the structure of thyroid hormone receptors, allowing for efficient binding and function of thyroid hormones.†
Thyroid hormone activation:
Selenium is an essential cofactor for the deiodinase (removes iodine) enzymes responsible for converting inactive T4 (thyroxine) into the active T3 (triiodothyronine) hormone, which takes place mostly in the liver and kidney, but in other tissues as well.†
Metabolic and additional support:
Folic acid along with B6 help support homocysteine metabolism; elevated homocysteine levels have been shown to affect normal, healthy thyroid function.†
Thyroid hormone is intimately associated with regulation of energy production and mitochondrial function, both of which require adequate magnesium.†
Studies demonstrate the ability of EGCG, a catechin compound found in green tea, to increase the amount of calories used by the body.†
The active compounds in the herb guggulipid, known as guggulsterones, help support iodine uptake by the thyroid gland, essential for the production of thyroid hormones.†
Bacopa monniera has been shown to support the production of thyroid hormones as well as address cognitive function typically affected by sub-optimal thyroid function.†
Ashwagandha contains active compounds known as withanolides which have been shown to promote healthy thyroid and adrenal gland function. This herb is an effective adaptogen, helping the body better respond to stress; stress being a critical factor affecting normal, healthy thyroid function.†Helps to strengthen and firm elastin in the dermis layer of skin, providing an anti-aging effect.†
