Plant Source of Omega-3 Fatty Acids for Optimal Health†
Evening Primrose Oil (EPO) provides a natural source of important essential fatty acids. Essential fat supplements can help offset the high consumption of saturated and trans fatty acids crowding our food supply.† The nutrients found in EPO play a major role in heart, skin, joint, nerve and overall health.† Our 1,300 mg EPO product provides a higher dosage formula for those looking to decrease the number of softgels taken per day of a lower dosage EPO product for therapeutic use.

Vitamin B-6 (pyridoxine) is important for normal brain development and for keeping the nervous system and immune system healthy.† The recommended daily amount of vitamin B-6 for adults is 1.3 milligrams. People who have kidney disease or conditions that prevent the small intestine from absorbing nutrients from foods (malabsorption syndromes) are more likely to be vitamin B-6 deficient.† Certain genetic diseases and some epilepsy medications also can lead to deficiency.† This can cause a condition in which you don’t have enough healthy red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to your body’s tissues (anemia), which can cause symptoms such as confusion, depression, and/or a weakened immune system. A vitamin B-6 deficiency is usually coupled with deficiency in other B vitamins, such as folate (vitamin B-9) and vitamin B-12.† Healthcare practitioners often recommend vitamin B-6 for patients with heart and blood vessel function issues, morning sickness, premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and Sideroblastic Anemia.†

Features
Vitamin B-6 100 mg as Pyridoxine HCl

Benefits
May aid healthy nerve function and repair.†
Works with other B Vitamins to support healthier homocysteine levels.†
When there is a deficiency or malabsorption challenge, may aid red blood cells and oxygen transport.†

Vitamin B12 is a member of the B-complex family of water-soluble vitamins. Vitamin B12 has numerous functions in the body including, stimulating red blood cell production, support of healthy nerve function, and the metabolism of homocysteine.† Low levels of vitamin B12 are often seen in vegetarians, as plant foods lack vitamin B12, and also in elderly people as their ability to absorb B12 from food is limited. The absorption of B12 requires a protein called intrinsic factor which is secreted by cells in the stomach. Elderly people secrete less intrinsic factors and therefore absorb less vitamin B12. Consuming a Methyl B12 lozenge helps avoid any problems with absorption as it is dissolved in the mouth, and the B12 is absorbed directly into the bloodstream.† This helps provide significant amounts of B12 without concern for GI absorption.† The synergistic nutrients folate, B6, and biotin are provided for added support.

Features
High potency formula containing 3,000mcg of methylcobalamin.
The formula also contains 400mcg of folic acid, 300mcg of biotin, and 10mg of B-6.
Convenient dosage; lozenge dissolves under the tongue.
Great tasting cherry flavor.

Benefits
Methylcobalamin is more bioactive than cyanocobalamin, which has to be converted by the liver to the active coenzyme form methylcobalamin before it can function in the body.†
Methylcobalamin aids in the conversion of homocysteine to methionine, supporting healthy blood homocysteine levels.†
Vitamin B-6 and folic acid work synergistically with methyl B-12 to promote healthy blood homocysteine levels.†
Methylcobalamin helps donate a methyl group to form SAMe (S-adenosylmethionine) which helps support healthy brain function and liver detoxification.†
Methylcobalamin is essential for the production of normal, healthy myelin; protects the nervous system, and supports its function.†
Biotin along with B12 helps support fatty acid, amino acid, and carbohydrate metabolism.†
Vitamin B-12 and folic acid support healthy red blood cell production, essential for oxygen transport throughout the body.†
Vitamin B-12 deficiency generally increases with age because of decreased levels of intrinsic factor a protein normally produced by the stomach and which aids in B12 absorption.†
Ideal source for vegan/vegetarians who are at greater risk for vitamin B-12 deficiency.†

Methylfolate (5-MTHF) is the coenzyme form of folate and is the most biologically active type of folate found in the human body. Unlike folic acid, it needs no enzymatic conversion and is therefore six times more bioavailable. Also, as many as 50% of people suffer from a genetic disorder that prevents them from adequately converting folate into 5-MTHF. Supplemental 5- MTHF quickly increases both blood and cellular levels.†

Features
From patented Magnafolate® brand of premium methylfolate as 5-MTHF
Magnafolate® is more soluble than its primary competitor, Metafolin®
Magnafolate® is also more stable and bioactive than Metafolin®
High potency formula

Along with Vitamin B-12, methyl folate helps support healthy red blood cell formation, which is essential for transporting oxygen throughout the body.†

Also called Nicotinamide (NAM), Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 found in food and used as a dietary supplement and medication. As a supplement, it is used by mouth to prevent and treat pellagra (niacin deficiency). While nicotinic acid (niacin) may be used for this purpose, nicotinamide has the benefit of not causing skin flushing. Niacinamide and Niacin (nicotinic acid) both provide vitamin B3 activity, but they differ in chemical structure and how they affect your health. Niacinamide can also be made by our body from the amino acid tryptophan.

Niacinamide was discovered between 1935 and 1937. It is on the World Health Organization’s List of Essential Medicines. As a result, in a number of countries grains have niacinamide added to them.

Features
500mg of Niacinamide
Vegetarian Tablet
Contains No: sugar, salt dairy, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, preservatives, artificial colors or flavors

Benefits
Niacinamide does not have the effect of skin flushing, and that is why it is preferred over niacin in the treatment of pellagra (mentioned above as a condition that results due to lack of vitamin B3).†
Some niacinamide is converted to a compound called NAD. NAD is an important part of our energy making cycle, AKA the Krebs cycle. It’s also important because it is the “de-enabler” molecule that helps prevent a certain DNA-based aging mechanism.†
Taking niacinamide may help prevent new skin cancer or precancerous spots (actinic keratosis) from forming in people with a history of skin cancer or actinic keratosis.† “Nicotinamide for photo protection and skin cancer chemoprevention: A review of efficacy and safety” Victoria A. Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B-5) is a member of the B-complex family of vitamins and is found in nearly every living cell as a component of coenzyme A (CoA). Vitamin B-5 (CoA) is essential for the generation of energy from fat, carbohydrate, and protein.† Like other B vitamins‚ pantothenic acid is water soluble‚ which means that the body is not able to store it‚ so it must be supplemented in some other way. This vitamin can help support a healthy digestive tract as well as aid in the process of creating energy‚ red blood cells‚ and stress-related hormones that are made in the body’s adrenal glands. Pantothenic acid can assist in the metabolism process, as well as in hormone‚ bile‚ and hemoglobin synthesis.

Features
500 mg of Pantothenic Acid (as calcium pantothenate)
Vegetarian Tablet
Contains No: sugar, salt, dairy, yeast, wheat, corn, soy, preservatives, artificial colors or flavors

Benefits
An energizing B-vitamin, Pantothenic Acid plays an essential role in adrenaline production and carbohydrate metabolism.†
This vitamin can help support a healthy digestive tract and aid in the process of creating energy‚ red blood cells‚ and stress-related hormones that are made in the body’s adrenal glands.†
A long-time favorite of athletes for its amazing energy boost. Pantothenic acid has been investigated for its role in sports performance since it is required for the production of Coenzyme A (CoA), which among other things is required to transport fatty acyls (via the conjugated fatty Acyl-CoA) to the mitochondria so fats can be used for energy production and is used at many other points in the energy production cycle. “Factors controlling the rate of fatty acid -oxidation in rat liver mitochondria” Biochim Biophys Acta, December 8, 1972.
